Popped and poured and consumed over two days; best on Day 2. 100% Pinot Meunier from Chaumuzy, the wine actually appears almost brassy in color. On Day 1, the wine was tightly wound; a ball of energy with mostly green apple notes, savory minerals and ripping acid. On Day 2 however, the wine had kept its bubbles well and evolved rather dramatically, rounding out a bit to reveal spiced apples, more red than green, with raspberries and minerals that danced across the palate. A massively crushable Champagne with a long finish. An outstanding NV and paired perfectly with the New Year and Mille Bournes. No disgorgement data that I can find on the label. — 3 years ago
There is just no holiday weekend or weekend that the Rosé Champagne is not coming out at the D&S lounge.
Really love the deeper, richer, riper fruits of the Ruinart & gentler chalkiness as a nice switch up from my addiction to Billecart-Salmon Rosé.
Happy Eve of the 4th of July. Cheers all!🥂 🇺🇸 💥 🎇 🧨 — 6 years ago

Beautiful rosé - light salmon color that starts with fresh acidity but finishes with a sight sweetness. Strawberry and watermelon throughout — 9 years ago
1985 rose vintage Dom Ruinart. Deep salmon, orange hue. Ripe apricot and butterscotch. 10g dosage. On palate, rich and porcini and truffle. Meaty and leather. Acidity is integrated. Soy sauce and apricot. Good length. Prefer the '88. But great wine. — 10 years ago
Light salmon pink, brilliant clarity. Mostly Cabernet franc in this one. Flavors lightly of white pepper, raspberry water and lemon peel, aftertaste of sage and minerality. More subdued than fruit forward but nice complexity for a dry rosé. Good acidity but not excessive. A perennial favorite for me that sings of WA state varietal character. — 2 years ago
I tend to be rather picky about rosé, but I always love those from the Tavel area. This one is consistently satisfying. Glorious salmon-pink color and fresh, juicy flavors of strawberry and watermelon. Great with our Niçoise salad! 60% Grenache, 13% Clairette, 13% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, 3% Mourvèdre, 1% Bourboulenc. 5/15/22. — 3 years ago
Refreshing as water. Salmon in color- classic Provence. Grapefruit and apple notes. Slight minerality. Smooth finish. Great grocery store option. In a blind tasting I would never guess this was a celeb wine — 5 years ago
Floral, slightly green color, aromatic, balanced acidity, green apple, citrus, nice finish... just beautiful. It reminds me of a New Zealand Sav Blanc. — 8 years ago
Great with citrus and garlic — 9 years ago

Nice white blend, not too dry and not too sweet. Refreshing for a summer glass. — 9 years ago
Very yummy but only good with something like salmon. Very acidic. Smelled like pine nuts. — 11 years ago
Delicious! — 12 years ago
Blend of Mourvèdre (high percentage), Grenache, Cinsault and Uni Blanc. Beautiful sockeye salmon color. Floral, spicy and citrusy on the nose. Flavors of apricot, red berries, pomegranate, orange zest, watermelon and fresh herbs. Beautiful minerality and saltiness on the finish and a crisp and chalky texture. Powerful! — 2 years ago
13.5% ABV Salute to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier in France. Lulu’s father owned the vineyard , and she along with her husband took it over. Sadly we lost her in October 2020 at the age of 102 y/o. This is a blend of old vine Mataro and Grenache. Light salmon color, watermelon initially , later apple. Very nice! — 3 years ago
Probably the best Blanc de Blancs I’ve tasted. A clean and regal nose of peach, ripe apple, white flower, lemon tart, and banana. The palate, though fresh and crisp, feels expansive and soft, and laces with brioche and hint of sea breeze. Long and polished finish. — 5 years ago
Another wonderful bottle from K&L — 9 years ago
Smells like a sauv blank but classic off-dry Riesling on palate. Hammer don't hurt 'em — 9 years ago
Terrifically complex rose. Beautiful salmon color, on the palate it was a white wine in the front of the mouth but finished like a red with high acid and some significant tannin. Thanks to @Jason Alaniz for bringing it by! — 10 years ago
Surprisingly light. It starts with a floral overlay - it's there then dissipates into a light finish and then gone. Any easy drink — 11 years ago
