Clear, light lemon yellow
Clean, medium intense notes of white floral, stones, clay, lemon, beeswax. Soft and pretty nose.
Dry, medium acid body and alcohol (13.2% ABV). Flavors of lemon, mild apricot, mineral. Finish is a medium+
Very good, and would love to revisit this vintage in the future. Brie & apricot pizza.
Would be interested to see a Roussanne+Marsanne collaboration with Donkey & Goat (Skin Fermented Marsanne)

Liquid gold. Big, fat, delicious California Chardonnay. — 10 years ago

Exactly what you expect from a blend like this. Very new world drinkable on its own. I would bring this to a party. Very low acid and big juicy berries. Not very dynamic of complex however. — 11 years ago

2004 Raveneau Montée de Tonnère. After a half hr open, when you bring your nose to the glass, an amazing vinyl/green banana/mint/chalky limestone nose awaits that is so potent and alluring it evokes some deep-seated, Neanderthal sensory orgasm. It takes a bit of time for the puckering lemon acidity to poke out. Big, broad, and creamy...probably the greatest Chablis I've ever had. So very powerful but not clunky. Wow. The glass residuals are wildly saline and honey/creamy a bit. So, so good — 12 years ago

This was really intense: dark gold color with really complex & varied nose of melted caramel & butterscotch with tropical fruit interspersed w/grapefruit & orange. Heavily oaked (vanilla!) and huge, a bit hot, really need some big stems & aeration. Silky viscous acidic frame able to handle weight & carry through primary flavors to finish. — 7 years ago

Really liked. I'm learning I like red blends of wine. — 9 years ago
Almost amber in color with tropical and floral nose. The color belies the fact this is not an over extracted sweet juice. Beautifully bone dry with great acidity. Super. — 10 years ago

Honey, yeast, tart green apple and barely ripe pear. Very nice, although lower end sparklers are getting good enough that it’s getting harder and harder to justify to myself paying the price for these big names. — 7 years ago
Full & rich. Lots of yeasty, brioche aromas and flavors, backed by apples and a hint of spice on the finish. This is a *big* Champagne. — 10 years ago
Light, bright in glass. Delicate floral on the nose. Crisp and fresh on the palate with baked apple, and pear, rounded out with hints of vanilla. Really enjoyed it! — 11 years ago
An ICON. Superb, even belonging to a big big corporation. — 11 years ago
