Elegant. Mid+ intensity of citrus, acacia, honey, toasty and brioche. Dry, lively mid+ acidity, refreshing finish. — 7 years ago
Lucky enough to have this bottle passed my way at RN74 in Seattle one fine evening. Unbelievably well preserved. First impression is smoke and oakiness. Cheers to those who shared it with us! — 7 years ago
Lovely creamy chard, from berry bros & rudd hk — 8 years ago
I remembered this wine differently from how it drank tonight. My hopes were for the red berry forefront with flavors of black fruit and a slight earthy tone on the back end, as remembered. This bottle had me wondering if I missed the mark on my other bottles. This presented red fruit forward on the nose with a breath of alcohol and lacked both the punch I was expecting with a 2012 Cabernet and complexity to follow. It needed an hour+ to open up but still remained a bit thin. A few more years in the bottle would not hurt it at all. Wish I had another for a re-try in 2018. — 9 years ago

Sandalwood, cherry, and red fruit on the nose. Sour cherry, earthy. Light to med bodied. Lots of acid/ sourness. Needs time??? — 10 years ago
#kermitlynch’s name takes top billing on this, and it’s a trend we’d like to see more of—importers/sellers bottling under their own name. They do it across the pond, and Berry Bros everyday claret is very nice indeed. Ditto Waitrose sherry. So what of this VdP Rhône? Much better than it deserves to be, a harmonious accord of fruit and tannin to be enjoyed on a Monday or any other night you please. — 7 years ago

Beautiful fruit forward red. Plenty of juicy cherry fruit with a mild smokey after finish. Velvety mouthfeel. Great value from Berry Bros. — 10 years ago
Following winemaking posts at Rudd, Dominus, Chalk Hill and Matanzas Creek, David Ramey and his wife, Carla began their own label in 1996. A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 4% Malbec, 2% Syrah & 2% Petit Verdot. Deep purple with fresh berry fruit aromas and earthy spice tones. Blackberry currant flavors, almost jammy, with herb notes and soft fine tannins. Medium finish, easy drinking best now over next couple of years, ending with a spice character. — 8 years ago
