Enjoyed this Saint-Estephe between Beijing and Dubai, on Emirates. Blackcurrant and cherry fruit, harmonious and elegant palate.

A heavy blend of heavy grapes. Deep crimson and dense. Open and lively Bordeaux with black fruit, cassis and pencil lead, leather as well as new-oak-brought vanilla and dark chocolate. Full bodied and medium+acidity, high alcohol at 15.5!( Though tasted like around 14.5) Finishes long, the alcohol weaken the length though. Perfect time to enjoy now or age it another 2-3 years. 89-90 points. Tasted in Beijing, 12.1 — 10 years ago
A mineral Spatlese that is pronounced with much lemon, green apple and tropical fruit and melon. Uncompromising minerals through the whole tasting process. Medium lemon green with much small bubbles. High acid and sweet, very delicious and saliva-dripping. Lively and refreshing however with round body. Good desert wine. Medium+ finish. 89 points. Can be aged for 5 years. An impressive Crianza from Madrid, mulberries, blackberries and fruity, not tired at all with attractive chocolate and vanilla notes brought by American oak. Good texture with medium + acidity and medium + tannin. Good length and well-layered on nose Slightly too high alcohol, lingers pretty long. 89-90 points. Drink now, peak. Delectable archivists, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from Jerusalem Hills and Syrah from Galilee.
Goes well with Beijing style dumplings and spikes up the heat when paired with condiments of chili oil, dried pepper flakes, chopped fresh garlic, chopped cilantro, and black vinegar. — 8 years ago
Lots of fruit, blackcherry, blackcurrant, earthy, and sophisticated. Great balanced acidity and smooth chewey tannin brings the alcohol sweetened fruity flavour to life. Such an explosion! Had it with roasted lamb and Beijing duck. Happy Chinese New Year! — 9 years ago

An elegant Shiraz sparkling red. Mulberries blueberries graphite and leather, lovely on palate with medium+ finish. Would be better if it is more persistent of its spark. 87-88points. Drink now. Tasted in Beijing, Nov.22 — 11 years ago
