Just visited the North Fork, Long Island,NY and after visiting NAPA a year ago, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of cold climate wines. This wine was a wonderful adjunct to grilled salmon with dill mayonnaise and if you chose, a mango-salsa, it really balanced out the taste. This wine gets a high rating from this newbie to the wine universe. Very highly recommended. — 11 years ago

This Long Island white wine does not smell/taste like a traditional Viognier. (No floral nose for example). That being said, this is still a pretty good wine.
Apple, apricot and peach aromas and flavors with a hint of limestone. Great acidity. Not what I expected, but.... — 7 years ago
