Had the delicious privilege of introducing a dear friend to this wine. Changed his whole perspective on shit. "Wow...what is this again and where can I buy it?" @Hardy Wallace you've done it again. — 9 years ago
Couldn't pass up writing on this one, which I think we tasted in the egg. Very well balanced, glad the oak is muted, dare I say a very un-California Chardonnay? Salmon, quiche, etc....I wish we had gobs more to open in years to come. Hardy, any library wines? — 9 years ago
First time trying Dirty and Rowdy, very excited!! Very interesting right off the bat, no staining on the cork at all and and such an interesting color out of the bottle. Very light red with brownish hues. Nose was full of floral notes and a little nuttiness. Bright and crisp acidity, so elegant. Slight minerality near the finish, which is long and lingering. Moderate tannins (6/10) that grips starting mid to end palate. Very impressed and so happy we got on their allocation list. Thanks Hardy, Kate, Matt and Amy!!! You guys are doing great things out there! Drink till 2028. — 10 years ago

So glad I got two of these! A nice rich red — 10 years ago
A wee baby this one. Sneak preview of the inaugural Skinner "Stoney Creek". Thanks @Hardy Wallace — 10 years ago
I'm not sure how @Hardy Wallace gets so much flavor and complexity packed into something that is as light and graceful as this. Cranberry, rhubarb, rocks, earth and mushroom. Orange zest. Smoked meat. I need too figure out how to not drink these for a while, to see what they become. — 11 years ago
Spicy and plummy. However it may have been premature to crack this one so soon... 2015 vintage — 9 years ago
With everything but the kitchen sink going into this white wine, what you get is a surprise-- a bottle with its own character, even though no grape is predominating. Everything is together with nice acidity and depth. Good as an aperitif or as a food wine. Congrats to Hardy for pulling it off! — 9 years ago
There needs to be more of this in the world. Refined tropical fruits with bubbles and a dose of @Hardy Wallace's magical energy! — 10 years ago
When I heard Levi Dalton interview @John Lockwood of @enfieldwineco there was the same excitement in his voice as @Hardy Wallace about discovering special vineyards. It was destiny that they'd make a wine together. Now I get to be the excited one. #PinotNoir #Mourvèdre #ChaloneAVA #MontereyCounty #AntleVineyard — 10 years ago

L'Anglore from Cali?? @Hardy Wallace — 9 years ago
Once I stopped wanting this to be Muscadet (much lower acidity) or Ramato Pinot Gris (not nearly the tannin/phenolic structure) I really enjoyed this. It's a much quieter and more nuanced 'orange' wine, rewarding close attention and time taken. Lots of development over 3 days, and I'm curious where this is in another year or two. Thanks @Hardy Wallace ! — 10 years ago
From a warm year, honeyed and full - a delight. — 10 years ago

2013: Lovely mix of black, suggestive of blue, fruit; Italianate feel - savoury, woody herb but medium bodied. Easy drinking. — 11 years ago
