1989 from magnum - layered and evolving on the palate. In a good place right now. — 10 years ago
usually I'm not a big fan of F, but I must admit that this magnum was simply phenomenal, the opulence from the wood so well integrated with the millions, crunchy, precious bubbles.. — 11 years ago
So damn good — 4 years ago
Grapey and somewhat lacking in complexity/tannins. Tried it against a 2018 b cellars merlot and it didn’t match up well. — 5 years ago
Nose - pineapple, lemon zest, vanilla. Taste - citrus fruit and great vanilla flavor, little bit of caramel. Full bodied, with a good balance. Really good! — 6 years ago

Excellent Merlot with dark Cherry boysenberry vanilla and oak notes. Great pairing with a ribeye off the grill. Decanted for one hour. — 5 years ago
Bubbly and effervescent, sweeter aftertaste, pairs well with a berry-based desert. — 5 years ago
My gym is closed, but still training at home. Also exercising my taste buds with Beau Vigne. It’s tough, but it’s needed at this juncture. — 6 years ago

Lovely evening with very lovely dinner guests...this guy the second of two different bottles enjoyed this evening. Right out of the gate showed strong dark fruit especially plum to the nose...on the palate strong blueberry, plums slight pepper a bit a leather. Med plus finish and very delicious. — 8 years ago

Has a medium vermilion hue. Looks very light and clean. Bright cherries and wet cedar on the nose. Plenty of soft forest floor. Light bodied but good medium tannins. Apple skins, black cherries, and strong cranberry flavors. — 4 years ago
