2009-rich bouquet, great body, long finish, tasted at the vineyard March 20; a very nice visit, bought one for home; great with braised ribs. Paid $58 less 10% for buying four bottles. — 11 years ago
Modern in style but quite enjoyable. Oak is noticeable but not intrusive. Lots of fruit still present with slight sweetness on the midpalate and lively tannins on a bone dry finish. Decanted for two hours as tannins are still fairly aggressive otherwise. It is advisable. — 11 years ago

Palate: high acidity, nice body, $9.69 berries on nose, high tannins, nose lot of aromas, eucalyptus, almost sweet, very soft tannins, pronounced alcohol, palate: soft acidity, soft tannins, great finish 9/10 — 13 years ago

Herbaceous near smoke-point olive oil and bamboo shoots with a thin lemon juice on wet, river rock silhouette. The palate is full, siphoning into a barely perceptible tingle, adding buoyancy. Clean and delicious with shrimp in a homemade tomato cream sauce. A wiggle of the hips, a simple linen sashay, in a sunny field of white wildflower and clover. This Cortese really does it all. Curious to see it dance on the half shell. #cortese #piedmonte #italianwine — 11 years ago
