Not a lot of fruit, but a ton of minerality and some nice texture. — 8 years ago
Opened up nicely - enjoy after a bit of air! — 9 years ago
Beautiful Prosecco that was absolutely worth every penny. I would buy this over and over again. — 9 years ago
Drinkable already. On the big dark side of pinot. Beautiful nose and mouthfeel. Great long finish. — 9 years ago
One of a kind Grillo. Went away for a week with a half a bottle left in fridge. Came home and it was still fantastic if not deeper in flavour and more balanced. Serious stuff. Big structure. Tastes of the coast of Sicily. 2011 vintage — 10 years ago

Memories of #westsicily wine tour! 10 years of barrique. Figs, nuts and the sun of Marsala... — 12 years ago
Forget contemporary Marsala. Here is the closest, modern relative of the ancestral wine made in Marsala wine region, the Perpetuum. Stellar. — 12 years ago
On 18/12/16 lillo e Barbaglini — 9 years ago
Has a lot of white wine characteristics: papaya, butterscotch, minerality. Clearly a red wine. It's tannins sneak up on you. Really delicious and interesting. Drinking great now. — 9 years ago
Distinct rich chocolate flavours. Blackberries, fig and plums through the centre, pepper to finish. A very concentrated and complex flavoured amarone. Among the best I have ever encountered. — 9 years ago
Well matured on the palate with a spicy hint on the bouquet! A lovely blend... — 10 years ago
First time for me - 100% Grillo. Green almonds and hazlenuts immediately transported me back to being at seppeltsfield tasting show reserves from the early 1900s. Stunning. — 10 years ago
36 - great and different. Once it opened up it was excellent — 11 years ago
A unique and very attracting wine - Fermentation of Grillo grapes with wild yeasts in barrels of 500 l capacity and aging of 12 months on its lees, 30 months aging - it was a project from Renato. - a lovely wine to pair with food 😃👍 — 12 years ago
Integer. Unfortunately, this wine is very rare. No sulphites, only native yeats, it's pure grillo grape. Yellow flowers, orange skin, peanuts butter in mounth, nuts and dried fruits. Awesome! — 12 years ago
Holy shit. Amazing acidity still at the core with deep amber toffee, bananas foster for miles & miles on the nose. Palette was that killer acidity with saline on the edge. Ruch nuttiness throughout. Steller. — 8 years ago
Great all occasion wine. Black cherry, twizzlers, medium low tannins. I would purchase again. — 8 years ago
Hipper then your new fixed gear — 10 years ago
Super floral with a very prominent mint/basil first taste. Would pair well with some dark meat but I probably would not drink this again without food. — 10 years ago
Figs, nuts and Lemon at the very end. — 10 years ago
Very good the second day. — 11 years ago
More of an oxidative approach. Orange, brown spice, vinous. This style works well with the grape from a solid winemaker. — 12 years ago
Interesting Sweet wine based on Nero d'Avola, intense but gentle, very Mediterranean and light fruits, round 😶 — 12 years ago
