Smooth and explosive with bold cab franc flavor — 9 years ago
Fantastic Syrah. Big wine with lots of dark fruit. Just got better as the evening progressed. — 10 years ago
Beautifully expressive wine. Intense violets with a barrage of red and black fruits. Wonderful minimal use of oak. The palate has been left alone with some nice texture and a long finish. Great to see a screw cap, do it on the Barolo as well please :) — 10 years ago
Lovely, inky and soft. Dry spice, bright acidity, delicate tannins, and rich, jammy boysenberry fill your mouth and barrage the senses on a bing cherry platform. This is the kind of Burgundy you long for. — 11 years ago
An Australian icon-aged Clare Valley Riesling (in those days called Rhine Riesling unfortunately due to our country's slim knowledge base but later corrected against a barrage of opposition from conservatives and industrial makers of riesling, but not using riesling!) Classic glass of flavour; #honey #burnttoast #agedriesling #brulee #butter #crunch #yum #mouthful #watervale #treasuryestates ; wine made by the great man John Vickery before his defection to Richmond Grove when the Fosters people closed the brand down; but now it is back! Wine won three gold medals in the year of production-1990; probably never shown since. 12.5%; 1990 a terrific red year, usually not so for riesling; this had backbone; sweet acidity; nut power. — 12 years ago

Well, this is the start to a very big day. A much bigger day in my life than in wine, but happy to capture some of the highlights via labels to share with everyone. On this day I got on one knee overlooking the hills of Hautvillers, France and asked the love of my life for her hand in marriage. The ensuing barrage of champagnes should help to capture the reaction to her answer... — 10 years ago

So incredibly tannic, but that's their style. A barrage of black fruit- currants, blackberries and a pretty decent level of acidity. Don't bother opening for at least another 5-8 years. — 11 years ago
One of my favorite Merlots for the state of Washington. 100% merlot - 3 vineyards blended. Solid wine and not overpriced. I used to by a bottle a week or so because I couldn't control my consumption of it. :) dig it! — 11 years ago
Really unfortunate to get a barrage of ads for unrelated products (video games) while trying to input this, @Delectablewine Delectablewine. I understand the need to monetize, but seriously, optimize your targeting a bit better than that. We expect a bit more intelligence from an app devoted to sharing and appreciating fine beverages. Overstuffing the free version--that many of us have been using for years--with unrelated ads to prod us towards paid premium only builds ill-will. I'm considering going back to handwritten wine journals à la Michael Broadbent, or even Instagram.
This baby Brunello is well-integrated, full of luscious dark cherry and leather notes. Medium finish. Should develop well over ten years. — 9 years ago

Big fruit forward and dry. Good alone or with beef. Probably crazy good with brick oven pizza. Thank you @nvwineandcigar #wine — 10 years ago
Big full wine. Opened up beautifully. Nice long finish — 10 years ago
Tight on the nose, but you can immediately see that it's got so much to give. Gripping tannin with a barrage of dark red and black fruit and acidic backbone that'll keep it going for years...all under 14%abv. — 11 years ago
Very earthy. Great representation of the potential of Arneis. Very tame citrus alongside a barrage of Honeycrisp Apple. Great balance and structure. — 11 years ago
Barrage cellars rose 2012...a little sweet — 12 years ago

Cabin Fever Crusher #1. A mighty fine Pinot to accompany us through a home viewing of "The Revenant" whilst Hurricane Harvey continues to barrage our beloved city. — 9 years ago
