Barcino Brewers

New Belgium Brewing Company

Rampant Imperial IPA

I first discovered New Belgium brewing Company on a trip to fort Collins in 1998. I'm happy to say that their unprecedented success hasn't screwed up their beers like some other small batch Brewers gone bad. Super dee duper small batch feel Imperial IPA with peachy taste. Best entry level IPA for sissies who normally drink garbage like Bud or Miller. — 9 years ago

DryHop Brewers

Special Herbs Pale Ale w/ Yerba Mate

Dry hop brewers, special herbs pale ale with yerba mate. Smooth and mildly hopped. Kind of an astringent mouthfeel on the finish. Herbal flavor comes through but is not overwhelming — 10 years ago

McGargles Irish Family Brewers

Ned's India Pale Ale

White flowers, hop, ham, citrus, light, bacon

The town of Kilcock, Ireland was founded in the 7th century around the healing wells of a brewing monastery, and until the 1800s it was home to five breweries and two distilleries. Our own brewery, in fact, can be tracked back to 1595, sharing a space with the famous Green Well, which is as old as Kilcock itself.
A town steeped in history is the ideal place to brew fantastic beer, and to write our own brewing history – in this case, the story of the dysfunctional first family of Irish brewing, the McGargles.

Fleury Pere & Fils

Rosé de Saignée Brut Champagne Pinot Noir

It is the day after Christmas I thought I would go with a Champagne. This is the Fleury Pere et Fils Champagne Rose de Saignee NV. On the nose I get good red fruit of strawberry, fresh bread, Brewers Yeast and very fresh overall feeling. On the palate I get tart cherries, new strawberries, medium + acidity, and an earthy minerality with a good long finish. This was bought for $39.99. — 11 years ago

Chevalier Saison

Not a wine but a beer. Beautiful. The sourness of a cider with the bitterness and floral notes of a hoegarden combine to make a really balanced brew. — 11 years ago
