Fortified wine from Portugal. The south brother of Port wine with 20 years of ageing on French oak barrels previously used in wine and whisky. On the mouth is staggering with notes of honey and caramel, dry peach, toasted coffee grains and dark chocolat. Divine to be appreciated after a good meal with friends that know to appreciate this néctar. — 7 years ago
Love JP!! Good inexpensive rosé — 8 years ago
Difficult to score when Portuguese sparkling is as of yet scarce hereabouts, I still enjoy this in all its ebullient alacrity and hedonistic insistence to simply enjoy ripe fruits on a balance beam of acidity and a toasty note less leesy and more Viennoiserie. Earnest to try more sparkling wines of Portugal. — 9 years ago
