Unique and singular, aromatic, rich mouthfeel and driven by bitter phenolics and earthy spices. Jasmine, tea leaves, subtle yellow fruit, grapey, sweaty socks. Steely minerality, oily texture — 5 years ago
Pretty serious wine, the prettiness almost overshadowed by a ramrod-straight backbone of acidity. Probably meat-friendly with the right preparation? — 7 years ago
Smoky, peppery, almost effervescent. I'm a fan — 7 years ago

Woodsy. Oakey. Thick. Smooth. Dry. Acidic. — 10 years ago
As you would expect from Manfred. After a while you just run out of superlatives and just sit there with a Syrah stained smile on your face. Rich dark fruit with beef blood smell (that term doesn’t do justice to how interesting and delicious the combination really is). Tremendous finish, dark color to the edge. Just a great wine experience. My only bottle. I have no clue how long this wine could go before peaking. — 6 years ago
2 August 2017. Vine Wine, Brooklyn, NY. — 7 years ago
Fabulous blend, fruity with notes of plum, blackberry, and vanilla. Smooth but lively and present beginning, with an earthy finish that paints the palate dry. Let it open up for a few minutes before diving in. — 7 years ago

Surprisingly great blend for $30! Syrah, merlot and 70% cab. — 11 years ago
Delicious juice, lychee, grapefruit, lemon / lime, guava, a little sweetness, near flavors of a super dry Riesling. — 4 years ago
Well that is some good prosecco! — 4 years ago
A shockingly clean and dry Riesling with subtle skittles-like aroma. Significantly more enjoyable on day 2 (a decanter not available to me). I am far from an expert on this stuff but I would imagine some more years under the belt might help this yield more? Acid for days but not aggressive. Just tightly wound. A fascinating encounter. — 5 years ago
Mont Ventoux spiciness — 7 years ago
Licorice and cookie spice on the nose. Prominent fruit up front, blackberry, with a long finish. Would imagine that this should age well, if you have the patience and discipline. — 7 years ago
Bright, mellow, citrus mineralogy. Perfect for a picnic. — 8 years ago

Really good Syrah, tasted plums and maybe dark berries. Easy to drink and enjoy. Plus, it’s made by Drew Bledsoe so...win/win! — 4 years ago
