Yummy buttery Chardonnay from place on 5th Ave near the Gate — 7 years ago
CVed 1/24/18. Third wine to comp with first two. Have had this. Color actually lighter than others. Again nice stone fruits, minerals, tart peaches on nose. Vibrant and lithe on palate with softer texture than the others and a medium finish that's relatively less complex. Still a yummy wine ave great value at $15 or so. Opened 6/9/18! Went well with Korean takeout of seafood pancake, bulgogi, jaep char and Kalbi. Adaptability of such acidic and textured whites. — 8 years ago
highly drinkable. young fresh. buy again. from 7th ave — 8 years ago
Great. From 6 Ave — 9 years ago
Beautiful yellow gold colour. Fine mousse. Lots of Chardonnay character. Peach, honey on the nose, refined acidity. Round, creamy body. Complex mouth with honeyed peach and pastry and a long aftertaste. Matured on oak 15months then matured on the lees for 3 years. Happy memories of sipping this on their terrace on the Ave de Champagne in the warm summer sun. — 9 years ago
Dinner at #25 Crestfield with Asian mild ribs. Paired well. Balanced profile of red berries and earth ave acids and medium length. More old world in style. — 6 years ago
nice acid. low tannins. plums. cherries. highly drinkable. buy again. from 7th ave. — 8 years ago
Opened by mistake thought had multiple but was vertical of single bottle of '00-'09. Ruby color with purple tinge. Nice nose of dark fruits and earth. Peppers and savory on the palate. Supple and silky texture. Medium finish. 75% Merlot then Cab Franc. Drinking nicely. Should comp with other vintages!
Curious ave CVed (1/17/18).'06. More earthy ave funk on nose. Good balanced and acidic texture on palate and not as silky. Good long finish. 8.9. Perhaps more food friendly due to acidity. — 8 years ago
nice acid. low tannins. dark fruit. cherries. plums. dried roses. raisin skin. buy again. from 7th ave. — 9 years ago
CVed 3/12/17. Library wine from GL. Deep golden color and a floral complex nose of lichee mango and tropical fruits supported by hay and earth. Surprisingly soft and supple on palate and acids don't kick in till the finish which dries out a bit too stones ave minerals. Very interesting old trocken Riesling! Opened 9/25/17 after dinner with the contrabass Cab Franc thinking it was a Spatlese! Still a beautiful wine with that leechee infused nose. Tried it with Chinatown roast duck and paired perfectly. Who knew! Reminds me of that old Alsatian Riesling with grilled lamb at Julian's. — 9 years ago
Nicks fave from Park Ave, Rochester NY — 9 years ago

Back to everyday wines Bordeaux CVed 11/13/17. JR wine. Floral earthy nose and great balanced palate and good finish. Good value at less than twenty. Opened 2/19/18. Nose has some oxidative resin sherry notes that's not bad but makes you wonder about CV (bit of cork stain from the CV). Still a lively ave good wine. — 8 years ago
CVed 4/13/17. Mature red berries and clean nose with late hints of earth. Medium body and balanced palate of acids and fruits with good finish that's complex. Good Burg. Opened 11/29/17. Nice wine. Nose now has hints of funk with the earthiness. Good finish. Raising a point. Second bottle opened 1/10/18. Medium Ruby color and nose of dark mature berries with earthiness and funk and complexity. Good acid ad fruit ave minerals on palate ave long finish. Agree with 9.1, but upping to 9.2. Darn, bought only utero two bottles at $60 each, so no more. — 9 years ago
