Fresh almond, a bit sweet with chess nuts. Woody, white flower. As a second white. 2018 @1350, domaine, 210108 — 3 years ago
Medium nose with pleasant notes of grape and minerals.
Medium body, rich fruit, slightly oily structure, fresh acidity and very pleasant bitternes, long finnish - a great wine. — 6 years ago
Apricot, pear, strawberry. Slightly tropical (banana, coconut) Gentle roundness from malo fermentation. Would like to see more acid especially from this vintage (2014). Lower acid leads to the impression that it's watered down The comparison to Roulot is justified and I look forward to seeing more from this young producer. — 7 years ago
Part of the blind France vs CA wine tasting at the office. Very lemony and light, and color more transparent than yellow. Initially thought it was a Sauvignon Blanc. Loved the fruitiness — 8 years ago

This is a silkier, more elegant vintage of the Chapelle, at least relative to the 2010, which was really in my zone, as well as the 2009, which I found over-the-top, but in both cases I think there was more stuffing there than here. This would've shown better if I'd opened it with white meat or even fish or something else where a lightweight presence and loose-knit structure is called for. It's an excellent wine in that idiom but lacks some of the solidity and grip it has offered in other years. It's not imbalanced at all, and the trademark stony mineral flavors are still here, it's just a slimmer version of its usual self. — 9 years ago
So fresh and lively. This was a very unexpected treat — 10 years ago
