Excellent pinot. Lots of red fruit, juicy. Nice — 6 months ago
Light body. Tropical fruit — 7 months ago
Flavorful without being too bold. Soft. — 8 months ago
2007 was drinking great. Mature but still fresh and lively. Secondary flavors emerging but don’t overshadow the core fruit profile. Light tart cranberry/raspberry — 9 months ago
Stunning wine from an elegant vintage. 2011 consumed in March 2018.
Graceful and breathy. Such an amazing core of fruit considering the flimsy examples from many other wineries from this year. Just now starting to plateau with 5 to 7 more years to go! — 7 years ago
Rustic color. Earthy Pinot w some red fruit, mushroom. Bottle says it contains sun, rain, drizzle, more rain, some fog. 16 months French oak. — 11 years ago
Peppery, violets. Not your typical pinot, very fun. — 3 months ago
Summum: Popped and poured; enjoyed with our first course of corn chowder. The 2015 Summum pours a bright neon yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is youthful with bright notes Meyer lemon, star fruit, yellow flowers, some butter, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and has a chalky texture. The balance of fruit and minerals soooo Eola-Amity Hills. Drink now through 2030. — 4 months ago
The anticipation and patience displayed holding this for 10 years was amply rewarded. Clear, brick-ish color, tight nose that eventually opened to loads of red fruit, Burgundy like in its combination of lushness and reserve. Subtle and layered even after all these years. — 7 months ago
in line with the other reviews. An exceptional wine maker, doing everything from planting to pruning to winemaking. Very small production. Opened the bottle about an hour before consuming every last drop. Quite delicious. An exceptional example of Oregon Pinot Noir. — 8 months ago
WOW is right. Gorgeous red fruit, cherries, ripe strawberries, hint of pepper, softened tannins, absolutely delicious. It probably has another 3 to 5 years at least. Can’t wait to try the next bottle at that time. — 2 years ago

Maybe my favorite Pinot — 10 years ago
Great citrus with a nice buttery mouthfeel — 3 months ago
Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and sweet nutty notes, adding a leesy touch. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and pear with lemon citrus, vanilla and toasty oak, slight creamy texture. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, nuts, toasty oak and savory lemon Chablis character. — 3 months ago
Medium Ruby with ripe berry fruit flavors, some tea, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, cranberry and raspberry with earthy herbs and citrus notes. Fine integrated tannins on medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Nice! — 5 months ago
Over NyE dinner. Excellent wine - smooth and tart delicious — 7 months ago
I had bought this wine for my wife who likes robust wines - what a pleasant surprise in addition to its body. It had complex bursting flavors. Consistently flavourful from the first taste on my lips to the Gargle and aftertaste. I matched it with sirloin steak from an elk and some mushrooms with garlic, and the universe was as it should be. — 8 months ago
I’d say these wines are overrated. Second of the 2012’s I picked up. Dark fruit, supple but not that interesting. — 10 months ago
The Eyrie Vineyards, Pinot Gris, from the Dundee Hills of Oregon. Vintage 2017. ABV 12.5%.
Bright citrus and tart melon and cantaloupe notes with some salinity and wet stone influences. Very refreshing and youthful.
Easy to pair with food, we have paired it with roasted bok choy, aubergine, and brown jasmine rice. It goes nicely and doesn’t compete with the tamari and sesame flavors. — 4 years ago
This wine has it all... has converted me to having faith in the potential of American Pinots. Nose is strong violets with undifferentiated fruit. But flavor bursts forth with a perfect blend of violets, tobacco, fruit and tannins. Great full body fills your mouth and makes a strong statement. Absolutely delicious!!!!!! — 8 years ago
