Dark cherry and a dash of herbs, with a savory middle and finish, excellent concentration, and terrific with a duck breast with a beet sauce. — 7 years ago
So good, bracing acidity. Chard, Pinot Gris, Riesling, & Sauvignon Blanc. — 9 years ago

Also very fruity and not as earthy. Liked better than the Maresh. — 12 years ago
Light and earthy, superb after breathing. I paired it with good conversation and that made it delicious. — 7 years ago
Beautiful medium garnet, smooth, balanced. Elegant with backbone. Long finish. Pretty wine in a nice place. — 8 years ago

Great 07 Oregon Pinot! — 12 years ago
Deep sweet earth of WV held within. Berries and bright tart to levitate. Give it time to open up. Could have laid down much longer. Good now too. Maresh & Momtazi vineyards — 14 years ago
Drinking great at age 7. — 7 years ago
A hell of a wine. Amazingly deep jewel tone for how clear it is. The flavor has cranberries, rosehips, and bitter orange and a slight lemon finish, giving it an almost Campari-like quality in wine form. Beauty and substance. — 8 years ago
Hell yes! 2012 starting to hit its' stride. — 9 years ago
Fresh bowl of cherries, raspberry compote, vanilla bean, white pepper, clove, mushroom. Excellent rounded acid/minimal smooth velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, juicy/silky texture, soft slightly tart finish. Highly aromatic, acid really shined. — 10 years ago
Fantastic floral aromatics, balanced sugar/acid/alcohol--perfect German style wine, better than most originals, really great — 13 years ago

The first sip will make you think this wine is oxidized but with 10 mins of air it tightens up and seems to get greener in color. An outstanding value for those who dig premier cru Chablis — 6 years ago
