A wine maker at Argyle in OR told me this was a great Chardonnay. He wasn't wrong. — 9 years ago
Beautiful. Floral aroma, very earthy, vegetal, tomato vine up front, lingering red cherry finish of a Sonoma coast Pinot. What Dundee Hills Pinot aspires to be. — 9 years ago
A favorite from my buying duties at MS...off-dry and a creamy-viscosity, yet a vibrant acidity balances this fresh fruit, full bodied delight @ $16 — 11 years ago
Yes definitely a do over. A really nice smooth, buttery chard. — 11 years ago
Flinty, lemony, bitter. Good bubbly but a bit harsh for my taste compared with a Veueve Cliqout, Oregon’s Argyle, or even a much less expensive Gruet. — 7 years ago
Lemon bars, caramel, a little chemical/chlorine/drier lint, ripe melon, full body, silky texture with enough acid to hold it all together. Citrus, beeswax, butterscotch in mouth, creme brûlée finish. — 8 years ago
Very delish — 9 years ago
A bit past it's best, but still drinking nice. — 10 years ago

Delicious. Refreshing acidity. Long and lingering finish. At the Knudsen Winery tasting in NYC. — 8 years ago
Crisp..apple, pear and sort of spicy. I enjoyed it and will buy again. — 8 years ago
The Knudsen Vineyards Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a new project, as the fruit grown by the Knudsen family has been sold almost exclusively to Argyle for years. Feminine and quite pretty in its expression, the nose imbued with freshly plucked rose petals, strawberry compote, incense and spice. On the palate, one can find darker fruit and refined tannins, a dusting of earth and leather, and a wonderful pop of black peppercorn on the finish, likely owing to the Pommard in the blend.
