I need some ice cream for this, perfect slap to the face after a slew of old, elegant French and Napa wines. A testament to sunshine and concentration , well made and crafty and the rare steak and chimichurri saved it from being blowsy like Pam from Archer. — 10 years ago
From a 3 litre. Glad it held up from less than ideal storage — 10 years ago
Smooth and light. Good with chocolate. — 11 years ago
Love Cali craft brews. Perfect while grilling. — 11 years ago
Pale ale. Bright citrus, fruity hops (but not overwhelming), apricot, overripe peach, bitter notes and a hint of fresh herbs. Good stuff. Happy to see the ABV @ 5.5. Great daytime beer. — 11 years ago
No idiot! It's Gabriel archer! Don't change what I put in, delectable! You aren't drinking my wine, are you? — 11 years ago
Lots of body for an 06. Still has a few more year to age. Nice age on the nose...kinda old world and light cigar wrapper flavor that lasts for a long time. — 11 years ago
Perfect balance of fruit and spice. Lightly smoky finish. — 12 years ago
What a pleasant surprise, for a 19 year old Sonoma Merlot to have anything left to offer. Thanks to careful cellaring done by my brother David Nelson, this bottle still had some dark fruit and woody notes, along with a nice acid structure. I don't drink much wine of this age, but this was a pleasant quaff with a slow cooked beef roast. — 9 years ago

Love the hints of berry in this wine — 10 years ago
Really good and love it in a can. Close to Saint Archer. — 10 years ago
Showing its rhythmic licks and groovy colors (Deep Purple and bold) presciently savvy to a rock-n-roll world well before its time and blasting some bright-lights bling showing bing cherry gradually toned down by dried fruit right out the archer bag (often strapped across my back) while on brisk hike along wet leaf-lined trail through a late-evening forest (think musky mossy spice) as a 3/4 moon shines its magic over a distant blue pacific as the Zin unctuously offers a bigger-yet blueberry coating, front to back, and soft tannins bring back the dried fruit and a leisurely downhill creep to that distant ocean thereafter rewarded by a sit down on the seaward primary dune gazing at the moon and, of course, another hit. It's a rock-n-roll love affair in a bottle, top to bottom. Get some...😎 — 10 years ago
I totally forgot how good this chardy really is. The bad thing is this is my last 2010 so I am going to savor it for as long as I can. Wow I am kicking myself that I did not keep more of them #BKWINES #chardonnay #sawine #ladolcevita @Brendon Keys — 11 years ago
If you make it to Arizona, make sure you stop by burning tree. By far my favorite winery in cottonwood, az. The 45-70 bones you spend on a bottle is well worth it. Acidic but well balanced. — 11 years ago

The jail bird?Whoa. Awesome blend of fruit, tannin and acidity. Medium finish and very smooth. — 10 years ago
Milk chocolate, dense dark malt extract and light roasted coffee notes. Fascinating aromas. Medium body dark with good liveliness and drinkability. More coffee than malt in the finish. This is like Jackie Gleason dancing. Looks heavy but can move like a skinny guy Brilliant and Delish. A gift from the Wine Sellar in San Diego. Thanks! — 10 years ago
Tasty dark berry with great spice -- pepper and anise. Delicious! But you have to air it a bit first (I let it air overnight). Otherwise, it was too sharp. #brightcellars — 11 years ago
Theres a reason Archer does a rip off of this for their scotch — 11 years ago
Man cannot live on wine alone. — 11 years ago
This double goes well with extra cheddar gold fish. Very well — 11 years ago
Great nose. Secondary aromas are showing. Great wine. — 11 years ago
