Crisp, fresh strawberry and watermelon aromas with just a touch of cranberry. Lively, fresh and fruity on the palate. Flavors of strawberry, watermelon, peach and a touch of citrus are followed by crisp, dry minerality and a bright, acidic backbone. The finish is long and dry with lingering minerality and citrus. — 10 years ago
Brooding, rich wine. Interesting sour fruit note. — 10 years ago

Cherries and baking spices. 🍒 Super inky — not for someone who minds stained teeth! 🙊 — 9 years ago
Veritas is my favorite vineyard in the Charlottesville area. The tasting room is open and comfortable. The grounds offer scenic and pleasing views. For me, the Vintners Reserve is the must have bottle of their selection. — 10 years ago
Buttery, rich, wonderful nose. One of my favorite wines. A bit pricey but worth it. — 10 years ago
Great wine! Need to let it breathe a little longer (2008) also a plus, since it's a VA wine. — 11 years ago

Juicy apple flavours, with a spicy strawberry nose. Interesting pink tint. Veritas silver medal, and 2012 best value award. — 13 years ago
Interesting. Lots of oak and fruit with a smooth velvety finish. Classic Aussie. Probably at its peak but still going strong. Has a few years left in the tank — 9 years ago
Terrific blend. Veritas - very fruity not too heavy. Great for dinner. — 10 years ago

Boom! Amazing. I am glad I can not afford bottles like this on a regular basis. This sort of pour raises the bar so high, you have to remind yourself that the hobby is not about the benchmarks and that the benchmarks are easy to like.
Lush and a big 15.1%, that was tamed by our Reidel Veritas Cab glasses. On the nose; fern, berry, anise. Lisa is suggesting, "a hint of saddle". On the palette active tannins, alcohol, dark fruit, and mirepoix. — 11 years ago
Still beautiful balance ! Perfect with local cheeses, Hannon and fresh baguette. — 11 years ago
We quite liked it — 12 years ago

What a wine! Extraordinary deep purple color, great smell on plums and dark fruit, full-bodied, complex multi-layered taste, rather oaky (barrique) and wild, rough tannins, medium plus aftertaste. Powerful, rustical, wild. I like it! But it should be consumed with a rich meal. — 8 years ago
