Cheers to visiting family for the Fourth! Beautiful bone-dry Chassagne-Montrachet and live piano in Ann Arbor. — 9 years ago
If you're looking for a cheap but fruity wine, this is a pretty choice. There's still a light alcohol taste to it but overall it taste like juice. — 9 years ago

Earlier today we hiked 5 miles on some gorgeous mtn trails - it literally took my breath away. And right about now I am feelin the burn immensely, and I luvvvv it. It's Friday and it's fun, but something is missing....ah yes, Heidi Barrett and her elegant Revana Cab. I have appreciated her work for a while (Dalla Valle, Amuse Bouche, Screaming Eagle, should I keep going?) - and who doesn't respect someone who always tries their best to make it perfect (with 5 100pt wines to her name, ridiculous). This 2005 is drinking really nicely right now - a total fruitbomb. Lots of vanilla and cherry flavor. Sidenote: I have heard great things about later vintages too since TRB subsequently took over. #happyfriday #heidibarrett — 9 years ago
Tart fruit forward with a slight lingering finish. I like it better with spicy food but it's still enjoyable on its own. — 10 years ago
Nice aroma or ripe dark cherries. Dry start with a burst of dark cherries and a clean dry finish. — 10 years ago
Nice crisp acidity. Tart and refreshing, doing it's job as a rose. — 11 years ago
Big kudos here, to the vintners, for providing just a little spice on the nose introducing flavors that present smoothly right after pulling the cork and results in big ole mouthful of jammy red fruit covering the entire palate with proper tannins and an easy finish resonating trails of what started as it drifts down one's throat. I found this, very affordable, yet right-on red wine at Promise Land Market (top-notch craft beer and wine bar that has become my fall hang while back home in Morehead City, NC; checkout the superb yet casual charcuterie). All a delight! (especially the people; come and see...) — 12 years ago

Very good with ham at Christmas dinner — 10 years ago
White mushroom over humid, steamy, jungle underbrush. Grapefruit and lemon drop aromas. Delicate mousse that heralds a chalky wall of tangy lemon-limestone that trails off monumentally into the distance. Graceful, refined, and charming to its core. — 10 years ago
Maury Sec is alive and well in Ann Arbor Michigan! We enjoyed this last night at Vellum Restaurant. — 12 years ago

The adventure continues -- trying new wines this weekend. Pear, lemon notes on the front, orange citrus notes on the of back. Soft herbal note on the nose -- sage? Medium acid that trails off pretty quick. Nice wet clay & earthy tones from the lees — 8 years ago
