Another terrific beer from Jolly Pumpkin. Definitely improves with some time in the glass; much better on tap at the brewpub in Ann Arbor. Doesn't have the depth of the La Roja (which is by far my favorite JP), but still a great beer. — 11 years ago

Bringing back fond memories of our Oregon road trip. Arbor Brook was my favorite of the visit. Candied lemon and fresh white flower on the nose with flavors of white peach, nectarine, honey and a silty finish. Maybe a little oak? Mmm.... So good — 11 years ago

Fine Cab Franc from Soda Rock in Sonoma county. Not sure where we picked up this wine but we like the 2007 vintage in Sonoma.

Enjoyed with our steaks at the chophouse in Ann Arbor. In decanter well we had a glass of white. The robust nature of the Mourvèdre comes through loud and clear. Silky tannins make this very approachable at this young age. — 11 years ago
