Lazio IGT 2010, 14.5%, organic grapes. Bottle tasted in January 2015.
Color: intense ruby, rich, with hint of purple.
Nose: ethereal, elegant, deep, spicy, with just a little tar, fumé, bay leaf, incense, very Mediterranean.
Taste: very dry, with elegant tannins, excellent body, quite aromatic. — 10 years ago
Light and bright. The Viogner didn't express itself much. More of a Sancerre feel. Great with the lobster soup at Restaurante Vela Latina — 10 years ago
Dry Moscato with strong hints of banana. Paired with black figs and gorgonzola. — 10 years ago

Made with grapes grown from Rome to Latina, the 2013 vintage is probably very near to its own peak of drinkability. Tannins are gentle, but important. A vague herbal taste is what remains after the red fruit flavours vanished. A good wine coming for a very reasonable price. — 10 years ago

Had it with dessert at the Kysela dinner. Nose shows dried berries and pecan. The palate is velvet smooth. Rich and sweet, a little nutty. Not very heavy, dangerously light actually. I could guzzle this but at 20% I've gotta stop myself!!! — 10 years ago
