I will try any Carneros Pinot Noir, and the 2010 is the best I've had, alongside Saintsbury's Block C Pommard — 9 years ago

Best under $20 Cabernet, hands down! — 12 years ago
I think this is my favorite wine from steven kent. Would love to try this against some good vintage lineages. It's got a great nose, mouth watering acid and flavors, and enough tannins to get your attention. Not dark dark fruit. More mixed with prominent red fruit. Really in a nice spot. These wines are really meant to have this kind of age on them. — 7 years ago
This is not your grandfather's SB. This is closer to a world class Chablis, than a NZ SB -- no grapefruit or catspee. Rich full mouth, fruit, earth, great alone and with savory food. — 8 years ago
Leather, baking spice, and mulberries. — 9 years ago
Le vin très clair, typique d'un Pinot Noir. Le nez est sur les arômes de fruits rouges macérés dans l'alcool et le chocolat et la bouche y est fidèle, avec une légèreté surprenante. J'aime beaucoup ce vin ! — 10 years ago

Certainly better than the 2011. Lower alcohol for a CA red. Medium tannins. Not very complex kinda meh on the Livermore Cabs — 10 years ago
Great nose. A little too tannic. Maybe just too young. Gonna give it some time. — 10 years ago
Always consistent. This is the bigger, buttery version that is just special. — 10 years ago

Have yet to have an EK bottle disappoint. This is in a fantastic window right now. So good. From the winery; ‘In the glass, the 2013 Small Town Pinot is a very pretty medium garnet color. Explosive aromas of crushed red cherry, forest floor and spice abound, followed by an outright party of ripe cranberry, strawberry, black plum and rhubarb pie on the palate. All rounded out by hints of juniper berry, nutmeg and cloves. A hair riper than last year, but no less graceful, there’s a pleasant sense of all-around finesse.’ All ringing true tonight. Loved this. — 7 years ago
