Deep, burnt, blood orange marmalade, sponge fingers, dried apricot with some tertiary notes of polished old furniture and forest floor. Palate is really quite rounded and there is still good acidity with a mix of fresh red apple and bruised orchard fruit and a garden soil minerality that is followed on by notes of Brazil nut and (dry), dried fruit, long, tertiary finish. — 12 years ago
Peter is an ambitious legend. Uprooted from the States and settled in Vouvray, to produce 4ha of stunning hand-made wine, 100% biodynamic, and utterly delicious. Smoked honey, orchard Apple, peach, and a mealy malty note on the nose. Defined mineral notes, lovely dry palate (less RS than the 2010) racing acidity, and a cooked Apple, peach, honey and herbal palate. It's delicious. — 11 years ago

My favorite cider. Like biting into a red gala apple. Opposite of dry cider. $9 / 92pts — 13 years ago
As always, Krug is for me, the perfect illustration of power and fineness. The common thread amongst all of the bottles I have been fortunate to taste is a sense of luxury. In a wine, luxury is not an easy to define, but most certainly Krug has it. A generous nose of brioche, apple galette, quince and nutmeg. The mousse is quite fine, gracefully leading into full texture, and an acid spine that pierces through layers of crème and orchard fruit. And the finish—as long and languid as any great story arc. — 11 years ago
A gin for those who don't like gin. It has a crisp clean taste and is very refreshing. Great with ginger-ale or in a French 75. — 12 years ago
Not really tasting the ginger but still good and sweet. — 13 years ago
