Tasted especially good with elephants and buffalo roaming past our seated lunch in the bush on safari in Botswana. Dry, crisp and easy to drink. — 6 years ago

Enjoyed this 2016 with Lamb Chops ~ Surprisingly it went very nicely with it subtle flavors with hints of wild grasses and berries. Its dryness made the flavors of lamb chops come alive. — 5 years ago

Summer’s day by the ocean, sunshine - this wine. — 7 years ago
Bright cherry- and blueberry aromatics which then give way to a palate packed with similar juicy, cherry flavour. Spicy highlights too. Smooth, rounded and delightfully ripe, the vivacious fruitiness is skilfully balanced by a gentle hint of oak which adds depth. It lingers with a light cocoa taste — 7 years ago

Absolutely drinkable Stellenbosch LBV(can't say Port). Man-up and try this lighter style with wild game and BBQ, South Africans love it. — 9 years ago

Final bottle from our cellar. Plum, dried cherry, five-spice powder. Gorgeous nose. Palate not tired in the least. More vibrant fruit, graphite, acid, long finish. Elegant & angular in a good way, a sort of Burgundian Rupert Everett. — 5 years ago
