Great structure, nice dark fruits, some wet cloth earth notes. Oak spice. Really pleasant. Nice with antelope steaks. — 8 years ago
A wonderful red blend from Donato Family Vineyards in the Antelope Valley. Inexpensive, a great wine for the money. — 9 years ago
Oh my, this was next level. Glorious wine from a not so glorious vintage. Elegant, yet wild, very round and at times rusty. Antelope steak and this bottle are a couple that can't go better together. Crazy good. — 10 years ago
Salty savory Savagnin. Excellent with antelope tartare, pate and cheeses. — 12 years ago
Definitely not as ripe as the vintage would suggest, tons of mushroom and forest floor. A wine at ease with itself. Just what my antelope rack needed. — 7 years ago
Ranked 1 by the group ( I ranked 2) at the 82 Bordeaux and Cab tasting. Good balance I thought abbot undeveloped possibly needing more air? Wine went well with antelope — 9 years ago
Chardonnay from grapes grown in the Antelope Valley in the Mojave desert. Done in the "Sur lie" style. Notes of pepper, grass and citrus. Excellent Chardonnay for the money. — 9 years ago
Last bottle of the case...sadness! Agree, best with Lou Malnati’s pizza as we had the very first bottle. Will see how it goes with paleo antelope Shepard’s pie. Also great for sipping. — 7 years ago
