Toscana IGT 2011, 13%. Bottle tasted in July 2014. Another wine made with Viognier grapes!
The nose is not very intense, perhaps this vintage should have been tasted last year. However in the mouth it's still very pleasant, with much of the freshness and the sapidity of this grape. Nice glass. — 11 years ago
Methode classique, Pinot Noir 100%, tasty and salty, nice acidity. Very good. — 11 years ago
Unclear why I never rated this one, but even more than a month the ago,I can recall this 2007 Brunello galloping into it's prime, like an earthy, tobacco-ey stallion, with elegant dark fruits and oh so velvety tannins. #CumQuibus #SanGimignano — 8 years ago

So nice, lighter in composition but with a marvelous finish. These older wines with good balance just drink so well. — 9 years ago

Great Sangiovese with great price. Cherry and leather smelling. Somewhat fruity and hint of tannic. Went very well with braised tenderloin hearts. — 10 years ago

Rose petal and violet notes up front followed by a complex array of dark cherries, wild herbs, exotic spices, oak and earth. Medium bodied and dry on the palate with plum, coffee, and herbs wound around dark cherry acidity great structure and balance with a solid tannic frame and a long complex, fleshy finish. — 11 years ago
Very acceptable! — 12 years ago

This bottle was a beauty. Sweet, refined aromatic red burgundy. Resolved tannins. Long lingering finish. A real beauty immediately upon opening and delicious two hours after opening. At Angelini on 4/22/17. — 8 years ago
