Significant bricking. Aroma of rose petals. Red fruit and some tar. Acidity and tannins out of whack with fruit. Dry finish. OK, but not a monumental wine. Worked with grilled rib steak with a coffee/ancho chile run. @Susan Grover agrees. — 11 years ago

Absolutely refreshing and approachable while showcasing a lovely palette of flavors. Pure and silky, like a dry Riesling but with the aromatics and perfume you'd want from a Muscat. This won't weigh you down, yet has the character for you to remember it long after having enjoyed it! Wonderful by itself, or with any number of cheeses (I had sharp welsh cheddar, brie nangis, and point Reyes Toma.) — 11 years ago
Crazy good juice with lots of spice on the nose balancing an agri accent carrying on to first taste/ blush and filling ones mouth with fruit before simply slipping down ones throat in a massage fashion. Eating pulpo and garlicky gambas with lots of oil, pepper & a hint of citrus. This is happening at El Perrone in Manhatten way out to 1rst Ave off 61rst St. Kudos to Donnell presenting casual and professionally on Christmas Day. Cool scene! — 12 years ago
