Another stellar release from Ms. Draper, this is the wine which is also available in a blend with her also superlative Tempranillo. It is a big red but not too chewy, good with spicy Argentine steak. The flavors are primarily red currant and plum, with a mineral body and a bit of chocolate to the finish. This is a full bodied red with nicely balanced acidity, possibly the best I have tasted of such a blend. It is smooth but not too thick,!with black currant and blueberry fruits up front, with a healthy dose of plum to the finish.
