Rich flavor not too sweet. Kind like whiskey. Recommended straight or rock but also nice with coke or tonic. This has significantly changed my impression for rum. My best rum. — 8 years ago

Single malt from India?!? Wow. Very complex with spice and cloves up front, a butts of citrus and honey on the mid palate and a long spicy-sweet finish. A total chameleon. — 9 years ago
Smooth and light. Mellow! Very easy to drink, esp on the rocks — 6 years ago
Most drinkable entry-level wheated bourbon. Sweet, soft, warming, peanut butter. Great value. — 7 years ago
Very good moderately priced bourbon. One of the oldest if not the oldest distilleries in Kentucky. Perfect for whiskey sours and other cocktails where a good bourbon holds it’s own but doesn’t have to stand alone. — 8 years ago
Wonderful bourbon! Not too woody or bitter. — 8 years ago
Absolutely fantastic. Can't go wrong. Easy to sip straight. — 9 years ago
Pale gold color. Upfront aromas of incense, cedar, green grass, hay, green tea, vanilla bean, coconut, and cereal. Mouthfeel is voluptuous. Some dry tannins in the back palate. Flavors are similar, with apple and creme brûlée hints on the tongue. Long finish! — 9 years ago
Sherry cask seasoned with orange peel macerated in sherry. 100 Proof, roughly 5 and 1/2 years old. Nose of orange oil leads you to believe this will be sweet, in fact it is dry as a bone. Light on its feet and very long on the palate. — 7 years ago
Delicious fruit nose and sweet tropical fruit taste with molasses, long smooth fiery finish. — 7 years ago

Amrut is now producing a really good dark rum that will follow in the footsteps of the Fusion Scotch. Nice. — 8 years ago
Pickled, salty, oceanic, smoked plum, bran muffin, soft caramel, a minuscule hint of fish oil offset by mint and bay leaf enveloping adhesive aromas. Full, burgeoning mouthfeel expressing lemon oil, coarse black pepper, oak, apple peel, baked pear, lemongrass, graphite, dark caramel, vanilla in a pointy finish with eucalyptus. — 9 years ago
All of the wines this evening were donated from my cellar for an international Food & Wine Society dinner function.. The night usually ends with a port but I decided to change it to an aged rum. This drank like a million bucks. Had a nose like a great cognac. Definitely a keeper! — 9 years ago
