Spiced apple and pear dominate the palate upfront with a hint of white peach. Leading into that irresistible minerallity you often get from Loire Valley whites. Lively acidity on the finish keeps you coming back for more!!!! — 8 years ago
Great example of a renowned wine maker taking village level seriously - because his name is on the label. — 9 years ago
Really impressive! Intensity. Density. Length. Yum. — 10 years ago
Yum. Saint Bris at age 5 (2009 vintage) and it's superb. Long, elegant, lemons, piercing. Their wines never disappoint. — 10 years ago

2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago

1997 old vine Chablis - Lemon meringue pie, with some yellow apple. Less minerality than I expected but shows on the finish. Potentially starting to approach it's peak at this age. — 9 years ago
Give this one a little time. But it may be THE (or one of certainly) benchmark wines for the appellation. — 10 years ago
Un vino blanco muy diferente, interesante y delicioso! — 11 years ago
Archetypal Bordeaux - old world in style, but where the savory characteristics are well-integrated with common Bordeaux fruit notes. Well-structured and precise, with notes of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla with a long, somewhat chalky finish. — 5 years ago

Funky yet light and fruity. — 7 years ago
Wow, in a very nice place right now, tannins completely gone. The Merlot softens the palate, but the Cabernet still dominates on the nose. Drinking probably at peak.

The wine needs air. Nice pairing of grapes, gamay offering enough fruit to cohabitate with pineau d'aunis rusticity. — 9 years ago
