Light bodied, slightly effervescent, and quite acidic. Surprisingly lemony. Lots of raisin. Maybe some rooibos? This is a good time. Had it with Naples style pizza. — 5 years ago
Get to Know Cab Franc Class (bonus wine - the carboy we brought back from our trip to CO last year). Raspberry aromas and some milk chocolate notes, more herby aromas as it opens up. Herby on the palate with a little bell pepper, a little smooth chocolate, and more tingly acid with not as much of a tannin lingering. #gotm2020 — 5 years ago
Nice aroma. Suitable to substitute for Macallan 18; to drink more often. Some burn and bite. — 8 years ago

Another great astor wines suggestion. I served chilled. Very cool label/bottle — 6 years ago
This rating is for “aged 20 yrs” bottle. Color of honey. Nose is powerful with alcohol spices, crayon, aldehyde, baked apple, fermented grains, and slight burned note. Taste is similar, dense, with real nice flowering/honey note to finish up. Aftertaste has some more salty mineral. Very nice. — 7 years ago
Really nice combo of Nero D'Avola and Montepulciano. Mellow and juicy — 9 years ago

2014 Sonoma Co. Cabernet. Agree "as expected" but perhaps a bit more respect due. Excellent balance, big fruit, smooth silky palate, long finish. Great with red meat. Pricey, though for not quite top tier full bodied... — 6 years ago
Lovely late night tipple. A real fave 🤓 — 7 years ago
Beautiful color of deep red tea. Nose of some tea, sweet and spicy caramel, intense stingy fermented grains, and nice oak. Taste is quite smooth with some tea flavors again, also some citrus peel, sweet apple, while fermented grains flavor comes next. Aftertaste is medium long with nice zesty balance and flowering note. Quite a nice bottle. — 8 years ago
