Very pleasant boutique bottling from a superior vintage featuring a texture of black pepper, black tea, savory and dark cherry. Purchased for low $20s, this producer does small productions beside selling fruits to leading Mendocino producers. Low level of tannin would make this a an easy choice for by-the-glass and for many Pinot fans — 12 years ago
Red berries and pepper on the nose. Thick bodied and a long, dry finish. Needs some time to decant. Great with spicy, salty food. — 12 years ago
Smooth, full bodied. — 12 years ago
Wonderfully light and fresh, but still with a good bit of stuffing. I liked how peppery this was, and the fruit was nicely high-toned. — 13 years ago
Great Grenache, on the lighter side as you'd expect. — 11 years ago
Nice surprise. Wine had really good balance from start to finish. — 11 years ago
Shared this bottle at Alchemy with Jeff & Mary Stai and mommadeb & Don. — 12 years ago
Superlative tannin quality. I was leery of the current release being '11 but I like Burlottto. I have no idea what kind of alchemy allows a wine with 14.5% alc to feel this light. Great QPR and I'm going to tuck a couple of these away to see how they develop aroma. — 13 years ago

Very nice expression of Viognier.
Clean honey on the nose almost exclusively. Well balanced with nice mouth feel. Actually good with charcuterie — 11 years ago
