The label reminds of Black Tape For A Blue Girl album from the 90s — 8 years ago
Like a Def Leppard album...high and dry. — 8 years ago
Early Paolo Bea. Same year as Prince's "Around the World in a Day" album, and a perfect match... A little sweet, a little tangy, and a little dirty. — 9 years ago
It's a pretty interesting blend. All of the different components blend well together with good body and acidity. Soft peach and melon qualities on the nose that carry onto the palate. It tastes like a real wine, made with care, even if it isn't mind blowing. If it was a tool album, it would probably be 10,00 days. 26% Sauvignon Blanc, 26% Gewarztraminer, 20% Riesling, 14% Chardonnay, 11% Chenin Blanc, and 3% Malvasia Bianca — 11 years ago
day-off breakfast of champions: strong coffee, pickled eggs, tilquin gueuze, and midlake's new album. the tilquin is very well balanced with layers of acidity. very happy to finally have it in the state. — 11 years ago
Nothing says St Patrick’s Day like Barbaresco! 2011 Oddero Gallina to be exact. At least the album is called Another Green World. Eno on this beautiful spring evening is ideal and no joke, the tannin from the Nebbiolo and the salty corned beef are magic together. — 7 years ago
Good for James Brown's Soul on Top album — 8 years ago
Outstanding! There is the perfect moment for a bottle to be opened and tonight was it. It was the wine equivalent of a album that you can listen to from start to finish. — 9 years ago
Perfectly paired evening. Brooding music, brooding and thought-provoking cuisine, and an identical turnout in this wine. I have tasted this bottling three or four separate times. Evolving interestingly, consistently delicious, and rich & savory. Wet forest floor, morel mushroom, candied cherries, rich Indian spices, savory finish. My over-again favorite red Burg from 2009 during the last year. Damnnnnnnn. Drink this whilst listening to Dead Can Dance's latest album. You'll die. 😜👊🍷 — 11 years ago
Blackberry, dark plumb, cassis, pitch, dark chocolate. Goes well with Soundgarden of the same vintage (most of Badmotorfinger was recorded in '90 though the album was released in '91)... — 12 years ago
Cherries & smoke on the nose, following to the palate. Needed about an hour in the decanter to blossom fully. Classic producer. The album is the Brazilian masterpiece, Krishnanda by Pedro Santos, a virtuoso percussionist & composer. It evolves across genres as the wine shows a variety of facets & characteristics. Brilliance across the board. — 7 years ago
If I were @Anthony Lombardi, the musical pairing might have been The Joshua Tree album, cuz I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. Quite good, but still not grok-ing the hype... — 7 years ago
More strawberry jam than an animal collective album, and a lovely vanilla bean scent as well. Wonderful taste. — 8 years ago
We'll call this a "Waiting Out the Rain" wine. Great minerality, medium body, hint of pear, floral nose. Pairs great with the yet-to-be-released St. Paul & the Broken Bones album on a screened in porch. My boy Thomas Jefferson would be proud of this one--a great Virginia white. — 9 years ago
So much complexity. Fruit, savory, spice. Still very tight. Drinking with Cajun boudin while listening to the new Ryan Bingham album. — 10 years ago
Album released on beer. Beer good. Album even better. — 11 years ago
Deeeep black cherry and plumb. Medium tannins. Silky finish with a bit of that old record album scent? That's how I like to characterize dust. — 11 years ago

2014 Bitouzet-Prieur Bourgogne and Now again ‘s excellent reissue of David Axelrod’s Songs of Experience. The wine is much like the record. Lots of highs & lows. Moments of beauty and elegance underscored by attention to detail & nuanced arrangements. This album showing up in the mail today equals a great Monday. — 7 years ago
