Wonderful Nebbiolo, elegance and longevity at the same time. — 10 years ago
3009 Foja Tonda is a very rare grape saved from oblivion by Albino Armani 25 years ago. Full body and taste, still in search of elegance, but aging time will help. Red fruits taste and long finish are a good plus. Very good. — 11 years ago
White merlot! Hearty enough for meats and pastas but still matches well with seafood. Not Oaked. — 12 years ago
Really fabulous Barbaresco. Definitely have with food, though. Not a stand alone sipper. — 10 years ago
Tastes a lot like a montepilciano. Am I crazy in thinking that? — 12 years ago
Dark baked cherries and raisins on the front move to tobacco on the back. Opens up nicely. Perfect pairing on Osso Bucco night. — 10 years ago
Bet it would've been even better with air, but went down too fast at dinner. Dark plum flavors and underripe plum acidity. — 11 years ago
Foja Tonda is an autochthonous grape of Vallagarina (at the border of Verona and Trento wine region), this 2000 vintage(in blend with some Cabernet Sauv.) seems to be at top of his evolution. Mature, with wide and pleasant hints of red fruits. Elegant, long, excellent. — 12 years ago
