07' Anderson Conn Valley Reserve. We opened a bottle of this several years ago, it wasn't showing particularly well. I was hoping for the best tonight , I'm thinking we came close.
Which seems to be my usual one hour decanting along side the Agharta. This 100% Cabernet shows very little signs of aging at all. This is NOT a powerhouse of wine. Light/medium- bodied cab. Layers of black fruits .Very expressive, nice mouth feel to it. A slightly shortened finish? Light sediment. I don't think this wine is peaking yet?
Edit- The tannins have dissipated, but the acidity is still rather present. Thinking it's got another 8/10 very good years in it. — 9 years ago
