Raspberry, strawberry, flowers, white pepper and mint emerge from the 2012 Langhe Nebbiolo. The 2012 is high-toned, intensely aromatic and energetic, with lovely underlying minerality and drive. (AG) — 9 years ago

Dark fruits and an excellent texture! Really good wine for an excellent price. — 11 years ago
Wow! Great paso fruit with some sweet tannins. This is great but just a baby, the aglianico character comes in so well with fruit, tar, pepper, olive and you can't taste a hint of the 52 months this spent in barrel. Very unique. — 12 years ago

Shit is phucking RAD!!! @ryme @maglaab be proud, your wine is in a phenomenal phase. — 13 years ago
The 2012 Rosso di Montalcino is a beautiful, mid-weight wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Rose petals, sweet red berries, mint and cinnamon come together in a soft, silky wine endowed with terrific balance and tons of appeal. (AG) — 9 years ago
So little so good #keifeandco — 10 years ago
Perfumed nose of raspberries, candied fruit, bitter almonds and oak. Medium bodied and quite well balanced in the mouth with more primary fruits than the nose suggests. Would have been more interesting with less new oak. — 10 years ago

Altare’s 2012 Dolcetto d'Alba is intense, layered and beautiful, with layers of dark blue/purplish fruit and expressive aromatics. This is a delicious, entry-level wine from one of Barolo’s top artisan producers. (AG) — 9 years ago
A clean malty flavour with almost a "buttery" hint. Long pleasant aftertaste. 5.1%. USD $2.80 for 500 ml in Chicago — 10 years ago
Ok Delectable, this is the second day in a row you don't recognize my wine! Who the f-k is Agostini Petri, can anyone enlighten me? Please. Anyhow in my glass I have a beautiful wine, 1997 Castello Vicchiomaggio La Prima Chianti Classico Riserva, bottled by John Matta. Initially I found myself in Cht9, with dry, sandy tannins but the aftertaste was more like a full-bodied Bordeaux. This is a mature wine, full of dark fruit and cherries, smoked meats, good grip of tannins and acidity that provides a back-bone. Just wish I had lots and lots of bottles in my cellar. Should keep on aging beautifully many more years to come. — 11 years ago

The 2012 Nerello Cappuccio Laeneo jumps from the glass with sweet red cherries, rose petals and mint. Drink this utterly striking, perfumed Etna red over the next few years. (AG) — 9 years ago
