Pleasant melon and floral nose, smooth, rich and finish with very little spice and bitterness. Love it! — 5 years ago

Rich and ripe, slightly oily texture, though lovely acidity. This is a great example of where the future of South African wine is headed — 8 years ago

This wine doesn't age. Just finished the 98 reserve and it held up beautifully; rich , flavorful, ripe & full with tannins.
Still great with a meat dinner of any kind.

Foley once again putting the wrench in "French". Power and elegance behind a beautifully balanced wine. Cigar box and tobacco leaf in spades, dark blue and red deeply extracted and graphite-enforced fruit. Beef blood, cassis. Foley extends my passion for his wines begun long ago at Pride. Superb. — 9 years ago

Celebrating Bastille Day with the spring dinner of the Confrerie St Etienne of Alsace association. Wonderful menu and perfectly paired wines.
Wow. Leave it to the dessert wine to run away with Wine of the Night! Honeyed cashews, honeyed stone fruits, guava, pineapple, caramel and honeycomb. Like a lighter version of Dolce. Insanely good! On the hunt for some of this. Thought of you @Greg Ballington since it’s a South African wine! — 6 years ago
Thanks Tyler. — 7 years ago
