Dang! Delicious. Needed some time to open up. Have to agree that it drinks a lot like a Chablis. Lovely minerality, great acid drive, lime, grapefruit, lemongrass, honeysuckle, subtle vanilla notes.
First Cotat. Don't think it's unfair to compare it with a Dageneau, albeit prematurely (really need to be drinking more Cotat). Feel like it's like Chablis vs Chassange-Montrachet or smth. Cotat's more precise, elegant and Dageneau's (entry) more expressive, richer almost. AB needed to draw more conclusions. — 8 years ago

Ab Fab! It's lucky all wines don't taste like this because I'd be driven to distraction! — 9 years ago
Terrific Malbec from Mendoza and the Achaval-Ferrer winery. Juicy mouth gushing fruit, integrated tannins, lively acidity. Terrific Malbec. — 10 years ago

Nice way to ease into the weekend on this hot Texas day. Honeysuckle, lemon curd on the nose. Fresh, bright on the mid palate flashing tangerine, lemon rind and melon with acidity that tugs on your checks. Long spicy finish with white pepper and a hint of soy. Magnificent finish, wow! — 8 years ago

Spicy on the nose yet creamy and filled with honey on the palate. Dry with a hint of sweetness to pair very well with our seared salmon. 2004 forgotten vintage. Ab Fab!!! — 9 years ago

2013 - BAM! Creamy, Pine(y) stone fruit, batenburg cake but with a deep mineral dent, great. Textured mouth feel, rich but with some prickly tropical and citrus fruit acidity, creamy but clean finish, Ab Fab. GORGEOUS! Rewards plenty of air & def get in ye cellar if you can. — 10 years ago

Bright and ripe and friendly. Groundbreaking? Soulmoving? Nah but balanced and friendly and not bad with fries. The eye: medium golden yellow. The nose: ripe lemon, Meyer lemon, ripe golden apple, a hint of honey. Tongue: dry AF, so much acid alcohol my guess? Tastes like13%ab 12.5% whaaaaa okay. On the taste buds more of the nose: ripe and raw apple some white pear some citrus acid and earth. Look for the acid. Always the acid. — 6 years ago
