Beautiful bottle great acidity giving it backbone balanced with a long finish — 5 years ago
Dusted one of these off. Nose is a bit funky to start. Reduced. But that blows off. Then gorgeous red berry fruit. So vivid and pure. Spice, mineral and earth. Juicy and so pure with wonderful deep and very pure red fruit and beautiful tannin. Long finish. Very mineral. This has really impressed me. Years to go as well. Still structured and so deep. — 7 years ago
Much more integrated than a coupla years ago. Great texture, oily nectar. Day 3 serious tropical lush-city. Still rocking in day 4. Really showing well, a pleasant surprise. — 9 years ago
Gamey. Like a rare, bloody steak. Saline elements. Bright acid. But also very pure and focused. — 9 years ago
Not usually a fan of Beaujolais, but this is quite tasty - esp. for $16 — 10 years ago
A great kickoff to the night. Enjoyed by all. — 10 years ago
Still young but a very tasty Pinot by Thomas Brown — 12 years ago
No doubt drinking this way too soon. Tried the next day with a bit more generous results but quite a bit more time is what this needs. Big berry fruit with orange zest and sandalwood on the nose. Dark and rich flavors, but pretty monolithic at this point. Follows on the medium-long finish. — 5 years ago
A little heavier than I remember but fully mature and fun to drink with friends. — 6 years ago
New Years part 1: a bit more muscular than typical Fleurie — 7 years ago
A lush Beaujolais that is red fruit dominant. Very enjoyable. — 8 years ago

Big black cherry jam . Brilliant for a young wine ! A certain silkiness. Distinct — 9 years ago
If there's to be only one Beaujolais that would be it-2011- amazing vintage showing particularly well now black cherry, blackberry, great minerality a ripe fruit lifted by a medium acidity — 10 years ago
Genteel, floral, fine, perhaps a bit front loaded and short. — 11 years ago
2009 vintage. Been waiting to try this one for awhile.... Fine bubbles with yellow gold color. Nose of ripe apples. Palate of ripe apple preserves with suave luxurious texture that carries through to a crisp and refreshing finish. Can’t get enough of this.... — 5 years ago
Nose has maraschino cherry, sliced pear, wet chalk, mashed raspberry and dry minerals.
Palate has chalky ripe cherry, granite pebbles, fresh blood orange pith, fresh raspberry and light strawberry-raspberry jam. Wow, long finish, we're both smiling a lot on this bottle.
More cherry fruit than most Crémant de Bourgogne rosés we have enjoyed, just amazed! At $32, it's hard to find a better saignee of Pinot Noir brut rosé than what is in this glass, QPR delivered! — 6 years ago
Very light with a slight tartness and nice fruity flavor (cranberry + strawberry?). — 6 years ago
Peppery, poetic and elegant. A rainy night in thick socks by the fireplace. — 7 years ago
After breathing for a little it opened up and was fantastic. — 8 years ago
Like a California smile on an eq - lots of acid on one end balanced by tree fruits on the other. — 9 years ago

The splashy label gave me pause and I approached with caution, but once I tasted, I was hooked. Fruity and warm without being a fruit bomb. Strong finish with stewed fruit and a hint of star anise. I would enjoy this all night solo hit it begs for food. — 10 years ago
