A glorious earthy cocoa dusting the most lively and impish fruit. Pineau't enough in a bottle. — 9 years ago
Dark purple in the glass, slightly clinging color. Full nose of baked plums and graphite (some Merlot in the mix?). Firm tannins introduce a palate of dark fruit, toasted pie crust, and graphite. Long dusty finish with tannins present throughout. A traditional, Old World Cahors, not to be confused with their more fruit forward Vin de France Malbec. Demands rich Mediterranean or similar cuisine. — 9 years ago
Pretty tasty stuff.. this is my 3rd Jurancon dessert wine in 3 days and they're growing on me. Very peachy with some funk on the nose. Palate is cool because it's not too sweet, but has a nice balancing acidity at the end. Peach, pineapple rind, and a bit of nuttiness. That's fun. — 10 years ago

When I heard Levi Dalton interview @John Lockwood of @enfieldwineco there was the same excitement in his voice as @Hardy Wallace about discovering special vineyards. It was destiny that they'd make a wine together. Now I get to be the excited one. #PinotNoir #Mourvèdre #ChaloneAVA #MontereyCounty #AntleVineyard — 10 years ago
A very good #aussiechardonnay drinking at its peak at 10 years. Fruit sourced from cool climate regions - Tasmania and Tumbarumba. All parts have come together - if not a trifle oaky. — 10 years ago
Just what I was looking for in a rose at that price point. It could be a little drier but it was lovely on a warm French Alps day — 11 years ago
1995 vintage. Disgorged in 2000. Long term stored at chateau. Fruit is playing second fiddle to toasty notes, and roasted almonds. Almost a touch maderized in flavor in a very positive way. Golden color with very controlled bead. — 11 years ago
Acid seemed to be more in play. I was prefer the edge and zip this carried across the palate than previous experience which emphasized a more vinous quality to it. Lovely transition. — 9 years ago
An extra year in the cellar has been kind here. The full feral yet airy breadth of this wine arrives sooner in the decanter (90 minutes, maybe?) and is more of a piece than when this wine was younger. Fruit and savory, complexity and lightness. And a touch of peach. Fuck yeah. Thanks @Rowdy Food @Hardy Wallace ! — 9 years ago
Had the delicious privilege of introducing a dear friend to this wine. Changed his whole perspective on shit. "Wow...what is this again and where can I buy it?" @Hardy Wallace you've done it again. — 9 years ago
With everything but the kitchen sink going into this white wine, what you get is a surprise-- a bottle with its own character, even though no grape is predominating. Everything is together with nice acidity and depth. Good as an aperitif or as a food wine. Congrats to Hardy for pulling it off! — 10 years ago

So elegant fine beed marriage of pinot noir & Chardonnay A softness about it — 10 years ago
A great wine, especially for the price. — 11 years ago
I'm not sure how @Hardy Wallace gets so much flavor and complexity packed into something that is as light and graceful as this. Cranberry, rhubarb, rocks, earth and mushroom. Orange zest. Smoked meat. I need too figure out how to not drink these for a while, to see what they become. — 11 years ago
Beautifully aged Champagne. Inspiring to want to lay down some current release Champers for decades. Like a beautiful Montrachet with richness and purity. — 9 years ago
Great tasting tonight. An excellent start with a fantastic bottle of bubbles. Lots of spice from the oak barrels during fermentation. Baking spice and citrus notes come thru nicely. Big finish of tangerine and baking spices. Very elegant. — 9 years ago
This is a difficult wine for me. One that I go back and forth on...do I really, really love it or do I just flat out need it? Today is the answer is I NEED it. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it's so damn delicious. After all, @Hardy Wallace did win the '93 Massachusetts Hula Hoop championship so it's pretty clear he can do anything he wants. — 9 years ago
Alpine goodness. Herbal with a fair amount of sweet. Not too thick though. — 10 years ago
First time trying Dirty and Rowdy, very excited!! Very interesting right off the bat, no staining on the cork at all and and such an interesting color out of the bottle. Very light red with brownish hues. Nose was full of floral notes and a little nuttiness. Bright and crisp acidity, so elegant. Slight minerality near the finish, which is long and lingering. Moderate tannins (6/10) that grips starting mid to end palate. Very impressed and so happy we got on their allocation list. Thanks Hardy, Kate, Matt and Amy!!! You guys are doing great things out there! Drink till 2028. — 10 years ago

A nice dark colored, drinkable wine — 11 years ago
One of my go to favorites for a casual night in. Excellent quality for the price. Bold dark fruits, smooth finish, structured tannins. Enjoy:) — 11 years ago
Love it. Our first taste of a Beaujolais. — 12 years ago

Red wine of my WSET Level 3 exam. This thing was monstrous with a long life ahead, already at 18 years old. Had a deep garnet colour, turning a bit brown but still dark and inky. The aromatics leapt from the glass, with leather, tobacco, black currants, Asian spice, and earth all present. The palate was still massive, with high acid and medium (+) tannins. Leathery, almost Tempranillo-like flavors (so much so, I thought it was possibly a gran reserva Rioja), but with more power and zing. Still some fruit left for 5-8 more years.. a pleasure to try. — 8 years ago
