Is Nathalie my favorite winemaker rn? Prolly so. South in here to unpack—cranberry, smoke, almost a bit of a beef stock at the very end — 8 years ago
Acid seemed to be more in play. I was prefer the edge and zip this carried across the palate than previous experience which emphasized a more vinous quality to it. Lovely transition. — 9 years ago
Great tasting tonight. An excellent start with a fantastic bottle of bubbles. Lots of spice from the oak barrels during fermentation. Baking spice and citrus notes come thru nicely. Big finish of tangerine and baking spices. Very elegant. — 9 years ago
Pretty tasty stuff.. this is my 3rd Jurancon dessert wine in 3 days and they're growing on me. Very peachy with some funk on the nose. Palate is cool because it's not too sweet, but has a nice balancing acidity at the end. Peach, pineapple rind, and a bit of nuttiness. That's fun. — 10 years ago

Just what I was looking for in a rose at that price point. It could be a little drier but it was lovely on a warm French Alps day — 11 years ago
One of my go to favorites for a casual night in. Excellent quality for the price. Bold dark fruits, smooth finish, structured tannins. Enjoy:) — 11 years ago

A glorious earthy cocoa dusting the most lively and impish fruit. Pineau't enough in a bottle. — 9 years ago
Alpine goodness. Herbal with a fair amount of sweet. Not too thick though. — 10 years ago

The bottle that got me into so called “natural wines”. Fresh and lively fruit and acidity, but enough structure to really pair with a wide range of dishes.
2011 was the last vintage grown by the late producer and where his wife and family had to take over the winemaking after his tragic passing.
Happy to share it with the person that introduced me to this wine 6yrs ago. — 7 years ago
Crisp, great fruit, good underlying acidity. Super refreshing and everything I want in a rosé — 8 years ago
Beautifully aged Champagne. Inspiring to want to lay down some current release Champers for decades. Like a beautiful Montrachet with richness and purity. — 9 years ago
Dark purple in the glass, slightly clinging color. Full nose of baked plums and graphite (some Merlot in the mix?). Firm tannins introduce a palate of dark fruit, toasted pie crust, and graphite. Long dusty finish with tannins present throughout. A traditional, Old World Cahors, not to be confused with their more fruit forward Vin de France Malbec. Demands rich Mediterranean or similar cuisine. — 9 years ago

Very sweet. Good for a glass, but too sweet to drink more. — 10 years ago
A nice dark colored, drinkable wine — 11 years ago
1995 vintage. Disgorged in 2000. Long term stored at chateau. Fruit is playing second fiddle to toasty notes, and roasted almonds. Almost a touch maderized in flavor in a very positive way. Golden color with very controlled bead. — 11 years ago
