Great company. Great meal. Great wine! — 6 years ago
This ‘94 was rich and enticing - plenty of freshness and pyrazine, vanilla (light), bitter dark chocolate, and young tannins / black fruit and a finish for days — 7 years ago
Ah, the Rocks at Milton-Freewater produce such remarkable and distinctive fruit. Morgan Lee’s take on the Stoney Vine Syrah is outstanding. Earthy, gamey, succulent, dark and full stone fruit (plum) that just keeps going. This is good for another 5 years I think. — 7 years ago
Both me and the girl enter our 40th year in 2018, so we are celebrating a couple of days early with the oldest champagne we've ever had. Special is an understatement. Tastes like I'm butt naked, face down in a seafood tower on the top of the Empire State Building, waiting on a helicopter to come take us to Waffle House to sober up before we get in a Ferrari to see a 35mm print of E.T. Endless thanks to @Christian Moses for this bottle. Will remember it for a long time to come. ❤🥂 Happy New Years Friends — 7 years ago
What a way to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary - with a 25 year old cab! — 9 years ago
After sitting in the car for the better part of two days, I need a drink. This @ShaferVineyards will do! It also serves the dual purpose of welcoming my little sister to Colorado! — 11 years ago
This wine has evolved wonderfully over the last 10 years...
Dark macerated fruit notes, tossed wet earth, bloody/gamey meat, charred oak and balsamico. At age 20, all components have melted into this beautiful beasty boy and those chewy but well dosed tannines provide a great harmonious structure.
Well done! 👍🏻
Went super next to a plate of meatballs and ravioli. — 6 years ago
Incredibly youthful. Lots of dark brambly fruit, plum, some leather. Fully resolved, moderately long finish, great balance. 25 years young! — 7 years ago
Actually, a very good sparkling!! — 7 years ago
Sensational bottle at the $25 price point. Lots of fruit and depth on the front end with a smooth finish and medium body. — 7 years ago
Shannon brought. Loved!
Regular edition did not love. Kept awake. — 8 years ago
It was my intent to drink this back to back with the Bouchard Beaune du Chateau earlier this week, but cuisine dictated a couple days' split. I feel like they are distant cousin wines blending multiple sites together to form a mysterious cohesion. This is initially a blast of powerful fruit, but with integral acidity that controls that power with a bright freshness. This is a favorite bottling for me, slightly tart, but eminently ripe blackberries and hints of spicy aromatics. — 9 years ago
To my knowledge there were only 15 cases of this extra trocken imported. About 2 grams of residual sugar. Crystal clear brilliance. — 11 years ago
BJ & Jess' wedding gift wine. $100 Excellent! 10/25/13 — 12 years ago
Great champagne blend with sharp bubbles and toasted caramel notes. Some green apple. Excellent especially at $25. — 6 years ago
A Great night to say the least:
Magnum of Gargiulo money ranch road,
2000 Bryant, 25 year Macalllan. Totally forgot to post this pick from a few weeks back!
The Bryant drank as good as any French Bordeaux that I’ve ever had. The money ranch toad was mediocre in comparison and the 25 year Macallan was 2nd only to the amazing company we had in our house that night!!
Great times to say the least!

What a delicious Bas-Armagnac. Rich with vanilla and caramel notes all in abundance. But what makes this such a delightful spirit is its intensity, smoothness and the finish that lasts several minutes. Twenty five years aged, and some, this Bas-Armagnac was a little treasure that I picked up at a store that was, sadly, closing. I'm glad I did. — 7 years ago
Found cellar notes. Bought for $25 in 1990 in NY for New Years Eve dinner. Still memorable. — 7 years ago
Vintage 2010 - After 7 y a cardinal red colour, laurel, cherries, eucalyptus and leather, smoooooooth taste from 75% merlot 25% cabernet franc. I love this wine, a Point for winelovers that like fruity wines, way too young for the ones who like their wine mature (like me). Rather rustic. #côtesdecastillon #merlot #loveit — 8 years ago
Drank this over the course of 6 days using Coravin...still too young, but the wine really opened up by the last day. Smells and tastes like a Grand Bordeaux St. Julien wine as it should. I used to this wine to test the Coravin. It is clear that oxidation starts right after the first pour. — 9 years ago
Was on sale last weekend for $25 Yum. — 10 years ago
