2 Towns Ciderhouse La Mure Lambic Style Cider. Cherry-cassis red, slightly cloudy. Moderate carbonation. Funk, butter and berry notes in nose. Tart Apple flavors followed by long sour marionberry finish. Some berry rasp tannin astringency on finish. Excellent fruit profile overall, lactic aftertaste. We know God loves us because Lactobacillus (and the brewers) make such wonderful products like this lambic beer — 8 years ago
A go-to red for me from the Douro DO of Portugal. Benefits from a 2-hour decant. Comes in at only $8. The winery name, Vila Regia, means "royal town", and was a designation given to towns founded by the Kings of Portugal.
"Ruby colour. Fine and elegant red fruit bouquet, combined with hints of vanilla and coconut. Balanced, rounded, and full-bodied flavour with an elegant, lingering aftertaste."

Berry cider, delicious - get again! — 9 years ago
I believe this May be my first cider in a can and so far, I'm liking it. Like most craft beers in a can, it makes sense. $3 / 89pts — 12 years ago
Blend of Golden Russet, Bramley's Seedling, Porter's Perfection and Cox Orange Pippin. Pale white in color, cloudy. Lightly carbonated with fine bubble size. McIntosh like aroma profile. Tangerine flavor with citrus tartness, mixed citric and malic finish. Should go great with food — 8 years ago
Traditions Cidre Bouche French style keeved cider 2016. 6.5% a/v light golden color. Light to moderate carbonation. McIntosh aroma profile. Neutral flavor, slight caramel finish. Some astringency comes out as cider reaches room temperature and it tastes much more complex served this way, like a traditional ale — 8 years ago

30ish bucks i think and it's a solid value.
After uncorking, I sniffed the wine in bottle and got a strong presence of molasses and brown sugar on the nose. But once it was in the glass, that aroma was totally absent. Cherry, raspberry up front, plum on the end, baking spices, little clove and allspice. Didnt feel hot and saw that it was 14.3%. Newsome is known for their zins. Their calaveras zin goes in the 20s and is a great value.Their single vineyard zins (shake ridge/kirschenman/big john!) are outstanding for under 40 bucks. Prospect 772 is my favorite rhone producer in calaveras county. Forlorn hope makes great natural wines. Newsome harlow is the zin master. Calaveras county is a gem in the sierra foothills. The tasting room is in murphys, which is one the most quaint towns in california. It's 2 hrs from the bay area, 45 min from skiing, and endless gold rush towns to explore. — 8 years ago
