Does anyone get a lil anise after the brioche and granny smith? — 9 years ago
Blueberry nose, black cherry entry, a lil' smoke on the finish. Prototypical Cahors. Sufficient acid to handle much greater concentration of fruit leaves a vague feeling of weakness in the juice. — 9 years ago
Probably a lil more expensive than it's worth but it's damn good. — 10 years ago

One of my personal favorite #Burgundy regions, Mercurey. Aubert & Pamela de Villaine's 2011 'Les Montots'--this dusty, truffled, earthy genius was really so pretty. Needs a wee bit of time to open up, but the cheery lil cherry bits sure were tasty! #ShadowsintheVineyard tasting. #certifiablydelish — 9 years ago

Plum, blackberry, black cherry on the nose. Fruit forward. Maybe a little black pepper, too – so there’s a kick and it’s not overly fruity. — 11 years ago
Kaffir lime burst, nectarine, a lil' stony vibe, and oil emerging. So good, always. Shoulda'coulda saved for crab season. — 12 years ago

My guest brought this in from there wine cell. I decanted the wine let it say for about 1 hour. I used a Osso to open this bad boy up, I didn't wanna break the cork. The cork came out smooth and beautiful. As for the wine, my guest gave me a lil taste and it was magnificent!! Smooth tannis bright fruit just awesome!! — 10 years ago
