Great Tuesday evening bottle of red. Milder than a California Zinfandel and not nearly as bold as other classic Italian varietals. The 2011 has good fruit, a hint of tobacco and leather, and a very smooth finish. — 10 years ago

Double Magnum with family in Zermatt. Very drinkable wine with lots of fruit but not too forward. Very smooth at this point in it's life. Still lots of body and just dry enough to prove it's varietal provenance. Very drinkable and highly recommended. — 10 years ago
