This wine makes syrah fun again. Lots of soil and leather, but really bright fruit and cocoa. — 8 years ago
Pure bliss. Nose of decayed forest floor and mushrooms. Surprisingly herbaceous and citrusy, believe it or not, on the palate. Makes a wine collection all worth it. — 8 years ago
I am usually a champagne or nothing kind of guy, but Clairette de Die is fun...and cheap, though I have a hard time finding it in our area. Nuttier nose leads the sweetness of the palate to be a bit surprising. A crowd pleaser if you are looking to give your audience something new but not pretentious. — 8 years ago
Still young. Hints of dried fruit, black current, slight pepper, citrus. Very long finish. — 8 years ago
An amazing vintage for Virginia. High quality fruit. Lingering pepper on the nose. Softened texture but still very broad — 8 years ago
Super bold wine. Peppery and earthy nose, but don't let that fool you. The palate is not overwhelming. Dried red fruits with leather and cassis. Drank it with a filet and it was spot on for a Tuesday night. My first Alentejo but not my last. — 8 years ago
Patience is a virtue when drinking this wine, as it takes longer than expected to open up. But once it did, wonderfully elegant. Extremely floral and herbaceous nose. Elegant and easy. Spicy at the end. Close your eyes and take your time with the finish, it's worth it. — 8 years ago
Really soft texture but not weak. If you enjoy simple but elegant with an artisan story behind it, this wine is for you. — 8 years ago
Opened this while it's a bit young, but couldn't resist while on vacation this week. Still a perfect taste of Italy. — 8 years ago

Still youthful. Lots of acidity. Licorice, smoke, dried cherries. Rosemary. Medium finish. — 7 years ago
