2009 - wedding day
2010 - 1yr — a year ago
Didn't find the Sicilian bottle I thought I had, found something I forgot about from the Spanish island instead.
Not as light, esp in color, as I expected from James pitch and other reviews. Medium bodied with high acid and med tannins. Takes a minute to open but worth the wait. Mediterranean herbs on the noes, earth and rich earth and slightly tart fruit on the pallet
"Combines freshness and power" was a solid summary — a year ago

Eddie wasn't wrong about the Tootsie roll note. Mac surprisingly liked — a year ago
Light and deliciously acidic. Tart red fruit, bramble.
Date night at Gran Sasso to relive Valle dell'aosta — 6 months ago
Tastes like move in day @ Glenwood!
Mac surprisingly said he liked it a lot despite it leaning to the green apple side of champagne. More brioche than their regular but still green apple, lemon curd, laser focused acidity
Very well priced for special club — a year ago
Welcome back from angullia - the land of beautiful beaches and mediocre wine
Light and chillable, slightly more complex than expected but not overly. Blue fruit, wild strawberries, slight surprising tannins and high acid give it a more solid finish — a year ago

First champagne we've both really loved in awhile. Nice brioche notes that appealed to Mac. Think we both actually like a little more RS than some of the nerdy stuff I've been buying — 3 months ago
