Excellent silky tannins, good color. The nose definitely carries some licorice. Taste fell pretty flat for me, not sure if it was a bad bottle but the alcohol came through too strong. Would try again just to see if it was a bottle problem. — 4 years ago

This wine to me was trying too hard with competing flavors. The second glass was better than the first. Overall I would say fine to try for a blind tasting or table wine but wouldn’t buy again. Not for me. — 4 years ago

Fairly peppery, strong tannins, fairly acidic. Great color. Not my favorite personally but overall a good profile for Tempranillo. — 4 years ago

Incredible balance. Very silky. Smith finish. Wish length was just a touch longer and flavor a bit stronger but overall an exceptional pour. Need to try more vintages if I can track them down. 2016 is supposed to be exceptional. — 4 years ago
